Every nation works toward the growth of the economy. Growth is worthless unless its results reach the bottom level of the economy. In developing countries like India, where unequal distribution of wealth and income, poverty, underemployment, and unemployment are the curses preventing growth, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) emerged as a boon and as responsibility centers for the creation of adequate employment to eliminate these curses. The government of India recognizes the importance of MSMEs and promotes them as responsible centers for the creation of adequate employment opportunities to reduce the problems that have become hurdles in the growth of the economy. By discharging this responsibility, the MSME sector became a vivid and powerful sector of the Indian economy. Thus, the MSME sector plays an eminent role as a prime employer for achieving some of the sustainable goals, and it leads to the sustainable development of the nation.
