The motivation for this chapter stems from the significant global events of the past 3 years, including pandemics and natural disasters, which have highlighted the fragility of global systems and the need for improved resilience in the face of such challenges. However, these events have also demonstrated the potential of modern technology to respond to these challenges, such as the development and distribution of multiple vaccines against COVID-19. Therefore, the world must continue to invest in both traditional and modern technology solutions to combat ongoing challenges such as COVID-19, monkeypox, cancer, and other future threats. The main objective of the research underlying this chapter is to conduct a comprehensive examination of the applications of Green Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and Big Data (BD) analytics in the field of smart healthcare systems (HCS), to identify sustainable solutions that can contribute to global preservation. This chapter aims to investigate the potential of utilizing Green AI, IoT, and BD analytics to create innovative frameworks that can improve adaptability, productivity, and eco-friendliness in smart healthcare systems. Additionally, the chapter aims to explore the integration of IoT, Green AI, and BD analytics in smart medical systems and to provide insights for researchers and entrepreneurs to aid in the development and planning of sustainable smart healthcare systems. The research also aims to present a proposed model for the implementation of these technologies in smart healthcare systems.
