Rice stands as a crucial substance for global economic progress and the sustenance of the human population. Achieving optimal rice production in line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, on “zero hunger,” is a challenge exacerbated by factors such as population growth, land use changes, climate change, and antiquated agricultural practices. Despite government efforts, rice farmers face barriers like limited information, complex support processes, geographical isolation, lack of extension services, and market constraints. To improve rice farming practices, a technology-assisted solution like the rice farmer registry framework was developed. This framework streamlined processes facilitated access to government support and transformed data collection and sharing among local government units. The framework used design thinking methodology, a user-friendly graphical interface, Apache web server software, and MySQL database management. The Knowledge Discovery in Databases technique helped identify hidden patterns and insights within rice-related datasets, enabling qualified farmers to receive initiatives. The framework’s effectiveness was evaluated through a 5-point Likert Scale with a grand mean of 4.84, indicating its applicability and potential in meeting global rice demand.
