Parametrization of Sensory Cinema Projections Through Information Constructs

The objective of this paper is to present the structural, formal, and scientific dimensions of sensory cinema projections. These projections aim to modulate the cinema environment to enhance participation for recipients with sensory deviations, for whom engaging with traditional cinema screenings is challenging. The quality of sensory cinema projections is predominantly influenced by modifications to the cinema environment, which are aligned with the sensory processing needs of individuals with disabilities. Sensory information processing—which comprises reception, processing, interpretation, and integration—significantly impacts the efficacy of transmitting cinematic content to the audience. This paper seeks to determine the parameters and conceptual framework by which the sensory cinema environment influences the adaptation of cinema screenings; therefore it is aimed at redefining contemporary cinema practices to accommodate individuals with specific sensory processing needs. The analysis utilizes the Ishikawa diagram to facilitate the parameterization and conceptualization of sensory cinema projections, establishing an original methodology for their implementation. There is a critical need to advance modern theoretical and methodological frameworks to redefine cinema production, advocating for a recipient-focused approach to audio-visual content that accommodates sensory processing diversity.
