Online recruitment fraud is a growing problem that can have a significant impact on job seekers and businesses. One way to combat this problem is to detect duplicate job descriptions. Duplicate job descriptions can occur when human resources professionals copy and paste job descriptions from other websites, or when they create new job descriptions that are very similar to existing ones. This work proposes a method for detecting duplicate job descriptions using vector search. Vector search is a technique for finding similar documents based on their vector representations. In this study, job descriptions are represented as vectors of words. The similarity between two job descriptions is then calculated by comparing their vectors. Vector search can be an effective way to detect duplicate job descriptions in job portals. This can help to prevent spam and scam jobs, and it can also improve the quality of search results for job seekers.
