A Study of Proximate Composition of Fish Flesh of Labeo Rohita & Catla Catla Collected from Different Locations of River Sutlej: A Review
摘要
Changes in the fish's proximate composition can be a reliable predictor of their environment and nutritional value. The proportion composition of fish's 4 main constituents—water, fat, protein, and ash—is known as its approximate composition. It had been discovered that the fish proximate composition differs greatly depending on sex, environment, age, and season, both within species and among individual fishes within the same species. Numerous techniques, including proximate analysis, have been used in the field of fisheries research to distinguish between fish populations along fish composition. It also shows how fish species’ physiological and general health state. To understand the nutritional value of small fish, ichthyologists, taxonomists, and nutrition experts have found this study to be very beneficial.
