Evaluation the Effectiveness of Perennial Crop Land Use by Applying the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) in Phong Dien District, Thua Thien Hue Province
摘要
Evaluating land use efficiency is an important pillar to achieve sustainable development goals. It is one of the extremely important conditions for agricultural development in the direction of stable and sustainable commodity production. The FAHP method is widely applied in research related to economics, resource management, agriculture, transportation, and other fields. The objective of this study is to evaluate the economic, social, and environmental efficiency of using agricultural land for perennial crops (rubber, grapefruit-Thanh Tra) and forestry crops (acacia) through the use of FAHP to propose land use planning and achieve sustainable development in agricultural production. This study was conducted in 2022 in Phong Dien district, Thua Thien Hue province. The results showed that this type of land use for grapefruit-Thanh Tra cultivation achieved the highest economic efficiency. In terms of social and environmental efficiency, both types of land use for grapefruit-Thanh Tra cultivation and acacia cultivation had the highest value. Overall, pomelo-Thanh Tra is the best land use type in terms of economy, society, and environment, followed by rubber and acacia. FAHP is a new and effective method to increase the accuracy of the weighting of criteria affecting the analysis of land use efficiency for perennial crops in Phong Dien district, Thua Thien Hue province.
