Atopic dermatitis(AD) is a chronic inflamatory skin disease with heterogeneous clinical appearance and complex pathogenesis. The pathogenesis of AD involves many cytokines that utilize the Janus kinase/signal transducer and activator of transcription (JAK-STAT) signaling cascade. Therefore, JAK inhibitors are used in the treatment of AD. Here, the topical JAK inhibitors;tofacitinib, ruxolitinib and delgocitinib and the oral JAK inhibitors; baricitinib, upadacitinib and abrocitinib will be reviewed.
