The coconut palm (Cocos nucifera Linn.) is a commodity with high economic value. This commodity is a source of foreign exchange for the country which is a source of income for farmers. Coconut flesh can be processed into coconut milk to make various dishes, such as vegetables, soto, curry, and rendang. Coconut fruit can also be grated, dried, and used as raw material for snacks and drinks. In its cultivation, various obstacles were encountered, including attacks by slug caterpillars (Lepidoptera: Limacodidae). One of the caterpillars is Parasa lepida. To control these insects, the use of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is the best control method and its aim is to prevent economic and environmental losses. Pest control techniques in IPM are not uniform but are adapted to local ecosystem conditions.
