We used several techniques to improve each of the components of emotional intelligence of university students. Three levels of emotional intelligence were defined: high, average and low. In order to determine the levels of emotional intelligence development, we used the method of D. Mayer, P. Selovey and D. Caruso - MSCEIT, V2.0. The final stage of the study was to test the effectiveness of the proposed strategies in developing emotional intelligence in university students by means of the Mann-Whitney U-test. The results show that the strategies used are effective.
