With the rapid development of information technologies such as big data, the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, and 5G networks, the logistics industry is undergoing digital transformation. The application of smart logistics technology has become an effective way to improve logistics efficiency and reduce logistics costs. In order to adapt to the progress of logistics information technology and the development of digital transformation, it is urgent to cultivate talents with smart logistics skills. Therefore, researching how to vigorously cultivate smart logistics talents has become an inevitable requirement for promoting the rapid development of China’s digital economy and society. Starting from the current development status of smart logistics talents, this article elaborates on the connotation and target positioning of smart logistics talents. The Analytic Hierarchy Process is used to study the ability cultivation of smart logistics talents, explore the path of smart logistics talent cultivation in the digital economy era, and aim to provide high-quality smart logistics talents for the transformation and upgrading of the traditional logistics industry.
