This article conducted a study on the demand for road logistics in Wuhan city based on the grey prediction model. Firstly, data analysis was carried out on the current situation of road logistics demand in Wuhan, including freight volume of road, railway and air cargo. Then, the GM (1,1) model in grey prediction was introduced. Finally, combining with the economic development situation and statistical yearbook data of Wuhan city, as well as the advantages of the GM (1,1) model, the model was used to predict the freight volume in Wuhan city and put forward measures and strategies for the development of Wuhan's logistics industry.
