Updating and Utilizing 3D Point Cloud Data of Road Structures Using Multiple Measurement Devices
摘要
In road maintenance, it is necessary to construct an environment that manages three-dimensional (3D) data and maintenance information. The primary objective of this research project was to support road maintenance work and a maintenance system that using 3D data by combining measurement 3D data from multiple measurement devices. In order to sustainably maintain road structures, pavement or ground objects. It is possible to use 3D data (point cloud data) associated with information in a maintenance system. However, a maintenance system is easy to identify the shape of objects and intuitive updates. For a problem that the latest data cannot be used in maintenance work and it is takes time to reflect road feature updates. The objective of this study is to build a 3D data base for road maintenance, and to partially use the existing 3D data using the data measured by the terrestrial laser scanner and camera for the feature to be updated. In conclusion, devised and verified an update method to improve the freshness of the data.
