Plant Tissues
摘要
Below, we review some of the microscopic examination methods. We have already dealt with the descriptions of the generally used experimental tools and methods. The spatial position, size, and structural relationships of a tissue or its components are most often studied on sections made in certain directions. First of all, there is a cross-section made in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the organ to be examined (Fig. 9.1), as well as a radial (Fig. 9.2) passing through the longitudinal axis of the organ, and a tangential longitudinal section parallel to the longitudinal axis.
