Digitalization of Mathematics Education at a Technical University Need and Reality Amid the Pandemic
摘要
The paper is devoted to the study of the impact of distance learning on the quality of mathematics education at technical universities in the context of digitalization amid the pandemic. The analytical review of the literature and the pedagogical experience of the authors made it possible to define the problem of the study: to identify the impact of distance learning on the quality of mathematics education at a technical university in the context of digitalization amid the pandemic. The relevance of the study is justified by the need and reality of the digitalization of mathematics education in universities in the conditions of the pandemic. The purpose of the study is to develop and implement a conceptual and methodological complex aimed at reducing the negative aspects of distance learning in mathematics at a technical university and maintaining the quality of mathematics education amid the pandemic. Research hypothesis: the use of the positive aspects of digitalization and the implementation of the developed conceptual and methodological complex in the transformation of the educational process in mathematics at a technical university will contribute to its quality amid the pandemic. The conceptual and methodological complex implemented in the mathematics education based on the obtained results of the experiment allows concluding with a probability of 0.95 that the level of students’ performance in mathematics is maintained in the conditions of distance learning during the pandemic.
