The COVID-19 pandemic necessitated the transfer of students’ education to a distance learning format, which at that moment most universities in Russia were not ready for. The experience of organizing the educational process in the current conditions, which allowed us to move to a higher level of digitalization of education, is investigated. The issues of methodological training of 3rd-year undergraduate students, future mathematics teachers are considered. The period of adaptation to the digital format of undergraduate students’ education is described. A decrease in the level of cognitive activity and the level of mastering of educational material in the discipline “Methods of teaching mathematics” was stated. The difficulties of a technical, organizational and substantive nature that accompanied the emergency transition to distance learning are identified and described, and methods for overcoming them are proposed. The features of the preparation and conduct of training sessions on the discipline “Methods of teaching mathematics” using the electronic information and educational environment InfoDa (LMS Moodle) of Moscow Pedagogical State University are highlighted, which can be considered in developing other training courses on similar topics.

Features of Distance Learning Lessons on the Methodology of Teaching Mathematics for Bachelors in the Context of the COVID-19 Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic necessitated the transfer of students’ education to a distance learning format, which at that moment most universities in Russia were not ready for.
