In revision total hip arthroplasty, acetabular reconstruction in the setting of massive acetabular bone loss is both conceptually and technically complex. The purpose of this chapter is to describe the indications, rationale, and surgical techniques of two commonly employed constructs used in the setting of severe acetabular bone loss: the cup cage and custom triflange.
