The Postmodern Self
摘要
This chapter defines the basic characteristics of postmodernity, making a distance from the previous period of development of society. That difference, which is reflected in the transformation of society, reflects the modeling of the self on multiple levels. Here, special attention is paid to the ontology and epistemology of the postmodern self, to later move on to the analysis of postmodern morality as the politics of the postmodern self and the relationship between the crisis of representation and the postmodern self.
