This study explores the impact of new technologies such as (AI, IoT, data analytics) on corporates’ operations in GCC countries. This research incorporates the relevant literature, and other published data, which explains the impact of these technologies on the operations’ efficiency and effectiveness. The findings showed that there are different degrees of digital adoption across the GCC countries, while the UAE and Saudi Arabia taking the lead. Furthermore, the study reveals that there are significant improvements in operational excellence and cost reduction. The implementation of AI has resulted a 30% operational efficiency improvement in UAE and 25% in Saudi Arabia. The analysis of the results also argued the importance of some obstacles such as cybersecurity threats, and also the need of upskilling and reskilling to capitalize on digital transformation advantages. In addition, the research highlights the impact of implementing advanced technologies on corporates’ efficiency and effectiveness in the GCC countries. Furthermore, the paper suggests continuing investment in technological infrastructure, cybersecurity and employees’ training which are complimentary assets to the main investment. And to achieve sustainable growth within the corporates in GCC, decision makers should focus on economic diversification by implementing regional customized strategies for their needs. This study provides several useful insights and practical advice for corporates’ leaders and policymakers to have better understanding on the impact of advanced technologies integration.
