Employee attrition is a significant issue that businesses worldwide must deal with. When an organization’s workforce is gradually reduced, it’s a sign the employee departure outpaces hiring. In addition to causing the loss of valuable workers, attrition also signals dissatisfaction with the workplace, which typically leads to rehiring attempts and delays overall corporate objectives. Employee Attrition appears more frequently in the ICT sector and despite the studies that address employee attrition prediction, few of them do so from a particular Internal and External factors perspective. Additionally, there is a scarcity of studies that address this issue at the Middle Eastern and GCC level, and even fewer that address it locally in the Kingdom of Bahrain. By synthesizing and analyzing a number of primary and secondary sources of literature, this paper aims to provide a detailed identification and classification of Internal and External work-related factors that contribute to Employee Attrition. Furthermore, this paper offers an Intelligent model that enables Employee Attrition Prediction for the ICT companies. The primary conclusions of this paper indicate that (Personal Characteristics, Satisfaction, Perceived desirability of Movement, Stress, Commitment, Rewards, Supervision, Teamwork, and Organizational Size) are the main Internal factors of Attrition, while (Available Job Opportunities and Market Conditions) are the most prevalent External factors. Finally, both sets of factors were adopted in the proposed Attrition Prediction Model.
