Rapid technological advancements changed customer behaviour significantly, including the shifting behaviour of using conventional bank to digital bank. In 2023, Jenius Bank, as the top digital bank in Indonesia, has more than 5.3 million customers and put it as the top digital banking in Indonesia. Therefore, it is important to examine the reason why customers intended to use digital bank account instead of conventional bank account. This study is to assess the impact of the ease of opening an online bank account and the quality of application services on the intention of people using digital bank accounts in Jakarta, Indonesia. A quantitative approach was employed using PLS-SEM analysis method. Total of 100 samples through purposive sampling method were collected. Based on the data analysis result, the intention to use digital bank account was statistically influenced by the ease of opening an online bank account and quality of application services. Among of those variables, quality of application shows more effective rather than the ease of opening an online bank account. In addition, the proposed model of this study has moderate predictive power (R2 = 54%). This study presents several recommendations for digital banking sectors aimed at improving customer satisfaction and fostering loyalty.
