Estimating a Time-Inhomogeneous Hyperlogistic Diffusion Process
摘要
We consider a stochastic model for the hyperlogistic curve, a general growth curve that includes well known models, such as Malthus, logistic and Bertalanffy. The problem of the estimation of the parameters is addressed by means of the maximum likelihood method. Due to the complexity of the resulting system of equations, the solution is approximated via metaheuristic procedures, concretely the Moth-Flame Optimization (MFO) algorithm.
