This study presents an analysis of a cyber-attack scenario targeting the Ukrainian telecommunications network, with SandWorm identified as the threat actor. Through meticulous model development, the dynamics of the scenario are explored, highlighting cause-and-effect relationships between different states over time. A What-If analysis is conducted to assess the impact of changing certain factors, leading to insights into potential outcomes and risk assessment. The study concludes with reflections on its implications for understanding cybersecurity risks and network adaptability.

摘要

This study presents an analysis of a cyber-attack scenario targeting the Ukrainian telecommunications network, with SandWorm identified as the threat actor. Through meticulous model development, the dynamics of the scenario are explored, highlighting cause-and-effect relationships between different states over time. A What-If analysis is conducted to assess the impact of changing certain factors, leading to insights into potential outcomes and risk assessment. The study concludes with reflections on its implications for understanding cybersecurity risks and network adaptability.
