Political and environmental conflicts have triggered forced migration and a global food crisis, affecting food security and nutrition. This chapter presents a diagnosis of the current state of the right to food of the Venezuelan immigrant population in Colombia from the perspective of its accessibility and satisfaction. To that end, descriptive and transversal research was done using documental and descriptive statistical analysis. The reflection contributes to critically assessing the efforts of the Colombian State and the District of Medellín in recognizing, guaranteeing, and protecting the right to food of the immigrant population. Further, it offers guidelines that would allow the channeling of institutional efforts in achieving the goals set out by SDGs 2 and 7 about access to food for the immigrant population in Colombia.
