Inclusive Language Teaching

This chapter discusses implications for the inclusive language classroom, suggesting ways to create an environment that effectively facilitates language learning. It discusses key aspects of language teaching, such as motivation, creativity, authenticity, teacher training, planning, and assessment from the perspective of various types of neurodiversity, including dyslexia. Cognitive processes are considered to explain the effectiveness of teaching choices. Additionally, the chapter provides guidelines for designing inclusive lesson plans for highly able students.
