How to Use Games to Teach in the Clinical Setting

Using serious games or game elements allows for engaging, fun, and active learning of clinical skills or concepts. Gamification may suit either individuals or teams of learners. Games enhance the review of educational or professional learning objectives when they employ simple rules and enjoyable elements such as competition. Serious games may use either tabletop or video interfaces for the learner.
