Educational practices that are inclusive generate benefits in students’ belonging and overall success, particularly those who have been historically minoritized and from marginalized backgrounds. Evidence suggests learners’ attrition from the science pathway may be attributed to the climate of belonging as opposed to academic preparedness. The lack of belonging due to exclusive pedagogical climates also accounts for performance gaps. Educators are in a key position to infuse inclusive pedagogical practices into all areas of education. This chapter will discuss practical ways and resources in which educators can foster inclusive pedagogical practices in curricular content, clinical care, and engaging with staff and students.

摘要
