The construction industry contributes a major portion to the financial stability of the construction sector. However, construction industry is facing a wide variety of risks which may occur in financing, designing, constructing and managing facilities of a project. This leads to increase in time, cost, quality, safety. Risk management is one of the important processes which includes, identifying, managing and assessment of risks in construction projects. This study identifies and analyses the risk factors on industrial, commercial, and residential projects. The analysis is carried out through quantitative and qualitative modes of research. The questionnaire survey is carried out based on expert opinion, personal interviews, and literature review through major dominating factors in industrial, commercial, and residential projects are taken for the survey. The factors are ranked using RII and the mean by which the risk matrix is prepared and software analysis is done using Python. Combining RII with statistical analysis allows us to identify the highest risk groups and helps to eliminate the risk elements for the project's successful completion.
