摘要

The behavior of high-entropy alloys in the presence of hydrogen is reviewed in this chapter. The mechanisms promoting the enhanced hydrogen embrittlement resistance of certain high-entropy alloys are described. The differences with traditional metallic alloys are underlined. The potential of employing high-entropy alloys for hydrogen storage and the potential related issues are reviewed. The effect of high entropy on the deformation modes induced by the hydrogen presence is described. The effect of SFE, in a very broad range for HEAs, is provided. The crack behavior in the presence of hydrogen for HEAs is reviewed.
