摘要
German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act came into force on January 1st, 2023. This Act regulates the liabilities of the companies in order to fulfil the compliance on human rights and environmental issues. Companies which have headquarters and offices in Germany have to comply with the rules and standards. These companies have also obligation to make sure that their direct and indirect suppliers apply these liabilities. Otherwise, tangible and intangible sanctions are applied to the companies. There are ten clauses in the Act, seven of them are about human rights and three of them are about environmental issue. In order to make the scope of the study narrow and not to lose the focus, only human right issues in the Act are explained.
