Currently, integrated reporting is considered the most effective way to provide data on the company’s business model. It is intended to eliminate existing informational and analytical constraints of conventional financial reporting and meet the practical needs of information users on the organization’s activity. The significance of this research is underscored by the increasing interest in sustainable development, company valuation, market competitiveness, and investment appeal under current conditions. Revealing qualitative, detailed, and concentrated data on the enterprise’s activity, integrated reporting is getting increasingly attractive for stakeholders, which is connected with heightening geopolitical tension around the world, the increasing risks of running the business, and the challenges of the global financial crisis g. Integrated reporting can fulfill such information expectations. The research aims to identify the pros and cons of generating an integrated report under the current circumstances. The authors used empirical and theoretical scientific methods to achieve the set goal. The research analyses the positive and negative aspects of integrated reporting applications and reveals benefits for internal users from drawing up an integrated report. The authors pay special attention to considering the role of integrated reporting in increasing the company’s competitiveness. Based on the full-scale analysis, the authors conclude that the advantages of the innovative reporting model clearly outnumber its drawbacks.
