In recent years, Germany has seen a significant rise in far-right violent extremist and terrorist attacks. The number of politically motivated crimes reached a record high in 2023, with right-wing actors responsible for the majority. This increase in violence has been accompanied by a societal shift to the right, evident in both the political party landscape and the diffusion of right-wing radicalization online. This chapter examines the interplay between misogyny, anti-feminism, and far-right ideologies in Germany, highlighting how gender aspects play a critical role in right-wing mobilization, radicalization, and violence. The analysis underscores the need for recognizing these ideological connections in prevention work and deradicalization efforts to fully address the violent dynamics at play.
