Work stands at a crossroads. Demographic shifts, skills mismatches, artificial intelligence, evolving employment contracts, and distributed workplaces are rewriting the future of work. As a result, EX needs to be differentiated to stay relevant and answer the emerging and resurgent needs of the workforce. This chapter examines EX in the context of these transformations and isolates three critical areas where EX needs to shift to a sustainable practice. We discuss the need for EX to become more inclusive as the workforce changes and to be incorporated as a key principle of work that stretches beyond the work of the HR function by becoming a key component of measuring human well-being in the future workplace.

摘要
