During the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent period characterised by warfare on the different territories, the distance learning tools were introduced on a large scale in different fields of education. Focus of our attention is on the first-year medical students studying in the model of blended learning. In the study of sources and real surveys it was found that one of the problems is the need for visualisation of the learning process. This is especially felt in the courses of “Anatomy” and “Physiology”. The aim of the research is to describe the method of soft and professional skills acquisition in the format of blended learning using VAR technologies. Studies of the soft and professional skills acquisition with the different learning conditions were conducted such as classical textbook learning, use of conventional IT applications, and use of VAR technologies. For the research the qualitative course perception assessment scales were used to assess the soft skills. The professional skills were assessed using the tests based on an adaptive question bank. The method is based on a combination of the text documents, videos and visual materials demonstrated by Meta Quest 3 tool, besides from the other side it’s based on three components: auditory, visual and mechanical perception. According to the article’s authors, this method will help to acquire the necessary professional and related skills. The results of the preliminary studies have shown the positive impact of the IT technologies application in medical education. The conducted research in the representative group allows us to talk about the feeling of pleasure from learning especially in the format of blended learning. The percentage of students in the representative group showed 100% mastering of basic knowledge. The percentage of “satisfaction” with the learning process has increased despite the increase in the types of workload in the study of topics.
