Gazelles have seasonal changes in their genitals, when during the rutting season in autumn, genitals increase in size and begin to actively produce sperm and eggs. Outside of the rut, the sexual activity of these organs fades and they decrease in size. But there is also a spring peak of sexual activity, which is similar to the real rutting season in autumn, but has a lower intensity and usually does not lead to pregnancy in females.
