From this chapter, it becomes clear that the situation of the goitered gazelle is becoming more and more critical all over the world: in some countries the gazelles have disappeared completely, and in others they are on the verge of extinction. There are a number of re-acclimatization projects, and they are quite successful, but this does not solve the problem of the gradual disappearance of this species, practically everywhere. Why is this happening? Yes, because the leaders of most countries do not consider this their task, although they are always ready to participate in royal hunts. The only exception is Azerbaijan, where the president has decided that restoring goitered gazelle populations is an important state task. And now the number of this species has reached more than 5,000 and continues to grow. Other countries protect goiter gazelles a little inside reserves, but outside of them all populations are exterminated to complete extinction.
