Latin America and the Caribbean is diverse, growing, and also one of the most unequal and turbulent regions making slow progress toward human and sustainable development. Each country’s reality presents particular needs which are not met, and cannot solely be met, by their governments; for such matter, social enterprises are not only important but are strategic to achieve social growth and development. Business models, leadership, and approach to profit with purpose are elemental for creating a responsible social enterprise, for effective operation, performance, and success.
