The present work was developed in the rural Colonche parish of the province of Santa Elena, Ecuador, as part of the project of the Peninsula University of Santa Elena, whose objective was to generate cultural tourist routes within the framework of the sustainability and diversification of the Santa Elena offer, as an alternative to complement the positioning of sun and beach tourism affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The methodology implemented was based on the statistical integration of satisfaction levels, and then the prioritization of them by applying the assessment criteria established by the country’s Ministry of Tourism. As a result, the evaluation of 122 attractions was achieved, with which the routes with an innovation factor were designed, a proposal that was socialized with the authorities of the Autonomous Decentralized Parish Government of Colonche and validated through joint work, with the Tourism and Culture Unit, the Heritage of the Prefecture of Santa Elena, the Tourism Management, and Promotion Office of the Ministry of Tourism in the province.
