Crack
摘要
This begins with recalling three artistic works where the crackCrack in question is recognized as a sign of irreversible changeChange. These works are then related to the possibly dramatic experiences of both common people and scholars. These are cultural shock, stultitia and falsification. I then show the ways of dealing with these experiences, and propose to consider three scenarios. The first is that it is a community where, for example, myths are the remedy. The second is that modern individuals, being modern and therefore self-critical, can find their remedy. Finally, the third scenario suggest it is a couple—represented by real scholars—who mutually reinforce each other to free themselves from trauma.
