This chapter deals with an intellectual formation rather than a discipline, so the term “science” used in title is used in the singular form. In the main text, however, the classic expression “the human sciences” is used. Here we have a new form of tools to represent movementMovement. They are based on the linearLinear mode of the succession of eventsEvent where the goal of this succession or the absence of a goal are the variants of this mode. Here we have a number of scholars who postulate an unrolling yet complex process of, first, social evolution and, second, mutation. All use the figure of a triad, which allows one to imagine not only a movementMovement but also an irreversible direction in which this movementMovement takes place. I then show how to finally expose time evidenced by the movementMovement in question.
