Concepts of human resource management have begun to evolve recently. However, considering the role of human capital in organizations, the development of information technology, and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, there has been an increased interest in exploring the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in human resource management, the practical steps of which are already being implemented. This research aims to study the existing literature on the given topic, highlight the main theoretical, methodological, and conceptual approaches, and identify the current challenges and proposed solutions. The research is based on recent literature dedicated to the topic. The main results can be summarized as follows. AI is present in only some areas of HR management. The main focus of the research is recruitment and selection. Since the research area is relatively new, empirical studies and results are quite scarce. A distinct area of research focuses on examining the impact of AI in HR management on productivity.
