Visual optics will relate the principles of physical optics covered in Chap. 2 to the eye. In the first part of this chapter, I will introduce various common eye models and their properties. This chapter contains many illustrations to visualize the optical properties of ametropias, like myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism, and associated calculations.

Visual optics will relate the principles of physical optics covered in Chap. 2 to the eye. In the first part of this chapter, I will introduce various common eye models and their properties.
