Neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs) are a group of rare tumors characterized by variable clinical behavior and complex diagnostic pathways. Despite often indolent progression, many patients are diagnosed at advanced stages, significantly impacting quality of life (QoL). Over the past decades, multidisciplinary management and technological innovation have transformed NEN care, emphasizing patient-centered approaches and personalized treatment. This chapter explores future trends in QoL assessment and care delivery for NENs, highlighting the role of novel diagnostic tools such as radiomics, liquid biopsy, and circulating microRNAs. These techniques promise noninvasive tumor characterization, earlier diagnosis, and enhanced patient comfort. Multidisciplinary strategies integrating expert clinicians, surgeons, radiologists, data scientists, and psychosocial experts are increasingly required to optimize outcomes and preserve QoL. Therapeutic management, advances in surgery, somatostatin analogs, targeted agents, radioligand therapy, and other approaches have improved survival and symptom control. However, treatment-related adverse effects necessitate careful QoL monitoring. Dedicated and shared instruments for QoL assessment are essential for capturing patient-reported outcomes. The evolution of QoL-focused, multidisciplinary care, especially in hereditary syndromes and during systemic therapy, underscores a paradigm shift in NENs management. Future multidisciplinary models of care should balance clinical effectiveness with a strong focus on QoL.
