Leveraging Artificial Intelligence for Climate Neutrality: Human-Centric Mitigation Strategies to Combat Global Warming
摘要
In this research chapter, we discuss the idea of climate change mitigation as climate change with the use of AI to support human centred initiatives to combat global warming. While dangerous, such further rise in the world temperature and global warming beyond 1.5 pre-industrial levels is unavoidable, and any further rise takes place to the detriment of such sensitive areas as this idea outweighs it. One example it briefly describes is that AI uses such databases to predict climate, how AI can help optimize renewable energy, and how sporadic resources can be directed to reduce carbon footprints. Therefore, the authors propose integrating AI with humans, who present how they approached the main themes theoretically and practically, the focus on decentralization and inclusion and development in global contexts for effective application of AI in different socio economic settings. Globally recognized examples of such issues include algorithmic bias, data constraints, disparity of information and communication technology access. In so saying, the paper asserts the need of international policies, of climatized polices presented through international policies, and joint work between AI specialists, climatologists and policy makes. Future studies must augment AI capacities, normative theories, and favorable policies, but need to convene cross disciplinary research to involve stakeholders constantly, in order that the AI will be a helpful tool in the direction towards climate neutrality.
