This chapter examines the opportunities for attaining climate neutrality in South Asia concerning transforming transport, energy, and communication systems. The rationale is to raise awareness of such sectors as climate change solutions providers and address regional issues. In this context, adopting the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, the chapter summarises and analyses the literature evidencing climate neutrality in South Asia regarding current emissions, emission sectors, and sustainable solutions. Mordant research outcomes indicated that incorporating renewable energy, transport, and communication green technologies could cut emissions, improve efficiency, and manage climate-smart outcomes. However, the efforts are constrained by economic constraints, political influences and infrastructure, which is comparatively archaic. The chapter underlines the four challenges that hinder these goals: multi-sectoral governance, technological advancement and regional collaboration. The outlook for policymakers, the corporate world, and societies in the South Asian region is summarised as follows: policy mixes should be integrated, clean technologies must be invested, and sustainability consciousness has to be promoted.

摘要
