This chapter examines how institutions are pivoting to the “Smart eco-systemic Realities” through which the interdependent umbrella of natural environmental, social, and economic sustainability can be facilitated. The policies of Engergiewende in Germany and the European Union Green Deal (EUGD) are focused on the transition to renewable energy, emission reduction, and eco-innovations by developed nations such as Germany, Sweden, and Japan. On the other side of the environmental benefits, this chapter demonstrates how climate policies primarily focus on social objectives, building the green economy, and enhancing social benefit, as seen in Sweden’s Smart Cities projects. Economic incentives, such as green bonds or tax credits in the US and Canada, reinforce eco-friendly industrial practices. Stockholm and Amsterdam are helping to ensure more effective environmental data interpretation and resource allocation through artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) as their smart grids. Global corporations with developed countries continue to play a crucial role in donating and providing technology and financial assistance for developing countries to switch to low carbon emissions. By looking into how these policies are implemented in these countries, the inscription of integrated policies to attain ecologically sustainable and socially inclusive climate neutrality is relevant today. It also looks into the barriers to implementing sustainability policies and imaginative eco-systematic approaches towards achieving climate neutrality. It explains that current global policies are fragmented, and any action has to face financial constraints and social inequalities. It also proposes a few strategies, including international cooperation, technological innovation, and inclusive policy as drivers of sustainable change.
