Landscape and the Expansion of Wind Energy in Germany
摘要
Over the past three decades, the number of wind energy plants in Germany has grown enormously, changing landscapes and their perceptions in many places and sparking controversial discussions. The integration of landscape aesthetic aspects into the planning and approval of wind energy plants is recognized as important, but poses challenges for planners. In protests against wind energy projects, the rejection of landscape change plays a central role. However, there are also accepting and supportive assessments of landscapes shaped by wind energy.
