Regional Studies and Landscape: A Critical Review
摘要
The previously close connection between geographical regional studies and landscape has largely dissolved as a result of the paradigm shifts in geography since the 1970s. Both regional studies and landscape receded into the background of conceptual interest. Only since the 2000s there has been a certain rethinking of special aspects of landscape, now understood as the result of societal communication processes as well as regional/country studies with a focus on a relational perspective and exchange processes taking place in networks.
