Landscape Ecology
摘要
The term landscape ecology was coined in 1939 (Troll, Zeitschrift der Gesellschaft für Erdkunde zu Berlin 1939:241–298, 1939), focusing on the ‘geographical landscape’. Today, landscape ecology—comparable to urban ecology—is considered an interdisciplinary field of research, primarily from a perspective combining geography and ecology and, at times, a biology and ecology perspective. The ecosystem (‘landscape ecosystem’) is the subject which is perceived holistically and studied by numerous scientific disciplines. Significant methodological and methodical gaps still exist between the ‘goal: overall system’, on the one hand, and a discipline-specific system and subsystem modeling on the other. These remain subjects of developing research. However, when it comes to the application of landscape ecology results, these specializations are disregarded.
