Neopragmatic landscape research can be understood as part of the research on ‘horizontal geography’, which represents a collective term for the exploration of complex spatial syntheses. The exploration of neopragmatic ‘horizontal geography’ does not represent a new theoretical paradigm but offers a metatheoretical framework for the triangulation of theories, including methods, data, researcher perspectives (interdisciplinarity), transdisciplinary approaches as well as forms of representation. Its aim is to provide suitable redescriptions, in this case of landscape, which in turn clarifies the contingency of interpretations about spaces, here of landscapes.

摘要
